Join Us for Sábados on Bikes with Friends!
Get ready for a morning of cycling, skill-building, and fun at Sábados on Bikes with Friends! In partnership with Safe Routes to School and Southern New Mexico Mountain Biking, we invite students in 1st–5th grade to join us on November 14th at Alameda Elementary School.
From 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., students will have the opportunity to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels, build confidence, and develop their cycling skills. Participants can also challenge themselves on an obstacle course featuring more advanced maneuvers before wrapping up the event with a group bike ride and pizza.
The event will include food, prizes, exciting activities, and plenty of opportunities for children to learn, explore, and have fun with friends.

Registration is required. Scan the QR code on the event flyer by November 11th to reserve your child's spot.

Please be advised that our monthly food distribution, normally held on the first Thursday of each month, has been canceled for November due to scheduled construction in front of the Family Support Center.
There will be no food distribution on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Distribution will resume on Thursday, December 3, 2026.

Food Distribution This Thursday!
Las Cruces Public Schools will host a food distribution this Thursday, Oct. 1, at 9:00 a.m. outside the LCPS Family Support Center, located at 505 S. Main St., Suite 249.
Food will be available to the first 75 families on a first-come, first-served basis.
