Driver's Education-Classroom Only: This course provides students with the knowledge to become safe drivers on America's roadways. Legal obligations and responsibility, rules of the road and traffic procedures, safe driving strategies and practices, and the physical and mental factors affecting the driver's capability (including alcohol and other drugs) are all included as topics of this course. Students enrolled in public and charter schools in New Mexico are eligible for enrollment in this course. (1 Semester/.5 Credit) This course NOT available for home school students. Parents/students cannot be charged for enrollments of Driver's Education. PREREQUISITES: Must be 15 years old by start date.
